In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: You, as a player of a game using information to gain any form of advantage when your roleplay character in game would have no way of knowing.
In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Forcing an event to take place that should not be, could not happen, or puts a player in a spot they don't feel is possible.

Sudo, while never really having a lot of material wealth in his years, has seen a lot and learned a lot through his various studies. Despite his appearances, he has actually been quite well educated. He just tends to spend his time with the wrong people and doesn't care to bathe. He longs for a woman that he once knew, but she was taken from him (going on) two hundred years ago, and he has accepted her death. He has scoffed at passing women who stepped a step to close assuming they were after his heart; it never really occurred to Sudo if anyone would even be interested in the first place. (They likely were not.) Through his apparent grace and alleged wisdom, he managed to lose what little he did have on a wager on if his lady would return. (She didn't.) He has a will to serve his king once more, and help the soldiers how he can. Maybe, he can learn from a master smith after a bath. He is a local drunk in Kal'Tarak, whom has aspirations of becoming a great merchant.

Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 398
Physical Description: Short, strong, stocky. Smells of cheap shine, and spouts bits of wisdom at the dwarves in their youth still. Many consider him offensive.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

((How does your character respond? Please ensure your response is at least six sentences long, and uses at least two actions.))

Example: (delete this when you add your own)

"Oh, I just, uh…" The traveler stutters, tensing up. They eye the crone, then back outside the shack. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until…
