    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: There are many ways to avoid power gaming, some such ways include leavening an opening for another in the scene for example, an example of power gaming would include "I strike at X's armor, but it reflects" what we could do to fix this is to do "(character name) Moves into strike at X" this would fix the issue power gaming and leave open a vague future for the rest of the scene
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: metagaming can disrupt roleplay, by giving players a large advantage that their character would not know such as a general using OOC knowledge gained in VC to plan an attack on a village that plans to attack it in the future. this would break the rule as the character would not have known this village was to plan an attack, but the actor did

Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story"

"Oh, an Invitation I dare not, say no." he States. his eyes Focusing onto the figure, then back outside of the tent studying the misty haze of the swamp. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until… he speaks "I, Santiago am here to seek knowledge and fine treasures of the world." he states bluntly. moving to the table he begins pulling the old, rotted chair back. "I have come from a far to these lands. as... one hunter of Truth" he remarks with a deep breath. leaning forward to the figure. his eyes darting side to side "I heard you are the one to make deals with. about... Truth most forbidden."
