    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Performing actions that would basically be breaking the 4th wall, such as being aware of something that the character shouldn't supposed to know. An example would be knowing a raid was going to happen so you go to it, but your character wouldn't know about it.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Being overpowered by either ignoring downsides, stating that an action does happen instead of attempting to make an action happen, performing feats that are unrealistic for the user, or having capabilities that are unfair for other people, for example, erasing somebody from existence just by looking at them.
