    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when you overpower an other player without giving them a chance to defend themselves

Eric Smyth was born in a remote village to a blacksmith of a father and his mother was a servant to a wealthy merchant. Eric listened to his grandfather tell him about the Siege of Vjorhelm and how ferocious the fighting was and how his grandfather came from the City of Johannesburg and sailed across with  the adventurers, but ended up on Atlas instead. Eric’s Grandfather was the first blacksmith in his village, then his father, and maybe one day Eric himself. Eric became  a apprentice to his father and Eric grew up and his mother taught him to read. Eric would wake up early each morning to have his father train him basic combat encase of a raid to the village. when Eric turned 21,  Orcs plundered his town and killed off the entire village. Eric tried to fight the orcs but he was hit in the head by a rock and went down while the village burned around him.. the low amount of oxygen and being hit in the head  made him forget what happened and who everyone was in his life. Eric then woke up to the village being burnt and everyone dead..... Eric didn't know what happened, but he grabbed his sword and walked out of the burning village not understanding who did this and why.

Physical Description: Strong and well built. Has a beard, his eyes are shinning blue, with a white eyelash. Walks Strongly and avoids eye contact with others.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Ø You must include at least one server lore reference in your character biography other than the current (or past) map and your character’s race or family. This lore reference could be something like the name of the city your character was born in or an event such as a war that your character has lived through. Please fix this using the wikia and forums for examples to use.

 

Ø You must include at least one flaw in your character's interesting facts/traits.  A flaw should be something to do with the character’s personality/behaviour. These facts/traits should be at least five-word sentences.
