    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use knowledge you may have acquired out of character while in character. Just because you know something, does not mean your character does. They would have to discover this information through their own means before you can bring it up in roleplay, if ever. Ex. Reading something in a character's biography and bringing it up in roleplay when your character has barely interacted with them.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is, put most simply, forcing actions upon others' characters. You have no control over that- never describe what happens to another character during your own post, always give the other person a chance to react in their own way. Ex. Deciding your character has hurt another character without giving the other person a chance to prevent the injury.

Kieran looked the man up and down, her face betraying how little she cared for this interaction. She took a step back and shot a glare at him. "What makes you think it's any of your business?" She demanded, tone more accusatory than anything else. With out another word she passed the man, not caring if she pushed or caused him to lose his balance in the process. The nerve of these city-folk.
