    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Your character does not know it, but you know it and use it.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is not giving a choice to decide what happens to their character.

My character is not an outcast, but rather he left his city when he was a boy and became very well known in archery and theivery. He is very secluded, but he will let people come over, at times. He is always welcome among his bretheren, but he must resist the urge to steal from them. Tristan is very well versed as he is an elf, but he does not know much of the elven customs. He wants to learn some magic to help him on his journey. He is a hunter to make money legally and has a stall in Fenn.  The dominion was a time of great struggle as it led to alot of elves making changes through rebellions, this made the dominion have to fill its lost spot with a high elf nation that was full of mages. Tristan was not there during that time, but he wishes he was because of all the loot he could plunder.

Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 18
Physical Description: A Snow elf that wears light/ leather armor with a bow. He generally will have at least one drink on him (alcohol). Long Hair.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
