Bran Audun, raised by a small tribe of nomadic Rassids, was trained in the art of survival and trade. He travelled far and wide with the nomads and gained a passion for adventure and discovery. Along the way he met many other Farfolk and came to recognize the many different personality types of Arcas and found that in many situations secretion is the best form of survival, as trust was had to form in the southern desert, full of other survivors....some with less supplies. One warm and windy afternoon, while looking for his pet cat, Shingle, outside of camp, he was taken hostage by Bandits aiming to sack his tribe. Bran led them to believe he was alone and that his tribe had fallen a few fortnights before. The bandits were skeptical, but after being led astray by Bran for an hour or so, they were convinced. They took Bran under their wing after scarring him on his forehead to signify his change of leadership and headed North. Over the next 7 years, Bran was taught to be like one of them and trained as a decent swordsman. as the bandit tribe wore thin in number and Bran grew older and stronger, he managed to become a power figure in the group until they were split up in a heavy thunderstorm while escaping guards from a small town in the Highlands. This is where Bran’s (now 22) story begins. Taken from his family and trained in survival and trade and taught to overtake his enemies, when needed, Bran is properly equipped to go any direction he chooses now. His story with be shaped by his environment and the people he crosses path with. At this point, Bran feels more deserted than ever and aims to find some men to travel south with to rejoin, what could potentially be, left of his family.
