Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
"My name is Franz. I have been traveling for months by now; this is the farthest I have ever been from home." He begins moving his body more to face her. "I promised to my mother that I'd explore the world for her, something that she could never do." He'd draw his eyes way from her and look around the room. "I'm an educated man, raised up in the middle class of a small village in nowhere. My mother always taught him the way of a gentleman, taught me how to dress myself, how to trim my facial hair neatly." He'd lock eyes with her again. "My father was a policeman, and mother was a teacher for the children of the town. We were comfortable and the family were popular, so it was a shock when I came out to my parents with the desire to leave." He'd look down at his pouch filled with a few things. "So, I packed my things and left a week later. So in summary, I wanted to explore the grater world than just that town." He'd smile at her and take a sip of water.
