You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Gael would reluctantly welcome herself into the old hag's abode, slowly letting herself analyze the interior of the tent. She gently relaxed herself onto the cushion before putting her hands onto her lap. She thought to herself for a moment before locking eyes with the hag. "My story..?" She'd gently bite onto her tongue before twiddling her fingers. "I was born with my two older brothers, Svend and Darnell." She'd pause for a moment, gathering the vivid memories of her childhood. "I would speak about my parents, but I can't really recall anything about them, apologies." She started looking around the tent, continuing to converse with the hag. "Personally, my childhood was fine, I wouldn't say the same about my brothers though." She shivered, averting her gaze to her hands. "I remember seeing Svend come home each night looking rougher and rougher everytime." She rested her hands onto her lap once more, letting out a soft sigh. "When Svend came back with a horrid gash one day, Darnell and I had barely saved his life! Svend decided that we fled from our home in the village and start a new life." She frowned, looking towards the entrance of the tent, watching the sun begin to set. She suddenly raised an eyebrow, turning her head towards the hag. "If you don't mind me asking, how exactly do you know me?" She paused for a bit before shaking her head, quickly getting up from the cushion. "Nevermind that, I must return to my brothers before it's too dark." She began to walk out of the tent, waving towards the hag. "Goodbye, Ma'am."
