    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming, often also referred to simply as 'Meta', is the use of information acquired out-of-character, in-character" the wiki states. Its basically an act of giving knowledge to your character, a knowledge that you as a player have but your character had no reason to know. Its using out of the game information to game in game benefits. For example, knowing statistics for a monster, weapon, lore of a certain place. If my halfling never was in a certain town, she wouldn't know it's history.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: "Powergaming is the carrying out of unrealistic, unfair, or godly actions. This includes forcing emotes on other characters, whether inside or outside of combat, performing unrealistic physical or mental feats, such as a Halfling easily besting an Olog in single combat, ignoring the effects of a mental disability, or ignoring the effects of magic, and otherwise acting godly, such as being invincible and possessing unfair and lore-breaking powers."
    Its giving your character's traits that are way over your character's realistic abilities. Like for example, giving my little pathetic halfling an ability to summon a comet do kill and destroy her enemies.

Oh and please... keep your distance." *She gestures the man to move slightly away from her and chuckles awkwardly.*
