Levi grew up in a small village on the outskirts of Renatus, A Kingdom to the west, tucked away admist the center of Arcas. Not knowing who his parents were, having died shortly after he was born. He tended to the farm animals, in return being allowed to sleep in the stables at night. Something he was grateful for, not having any shelter previously. When he was 10 years old, a group of Mercenary’s came into the village, dressed in black and carrying swords. He looked at them in astonishment as he saw them riding through, heading to the Inn. When he saw them going in he stopped what he was doing and made his way towards the Inn. He thus begged the Mercenary’s to take him under their wing, which they laughed. Saying he was too young, and a stable boy that wasn’t worth their time. Levi begged, almost crying at this point, he wanted a better life than tending to farm animals. The head of the group of Mercenaries, Merek, saw the boy’s frustration and spirit, deciding to take him personally under his own wing to train him. Five years later, now 15 years old, was the second-best warrior out of the group, earning loads of money through succeeding in many contracts. He had easily bested everyone besides Merek in sparring, gaining much respect. In a dangerous contract that they were hesitant to agree to. The group had to protect a wealthy family that had owed debt they couldn’t pay from another wealthy family. The family had found out that the other family was planning on sending another group of Mercenaries to kill them in their sleep. Which was why they were hired in the first place, to defend them. Levi’s group of Mercenaries was outnumbered heavily, barely able to defeat the enemy. Eventually, everybody but Levi had been killed, even Merek who had decided to fight the enemy leader one on one was killed. Leaving only himself, he had decided to flee, chased by the enemy. He managed to escape, just in the nick of time. Four years have passed, now 19, Levi has fulfilled contracts by himself since, making a living off of it.
