    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when a role-player uses information they gained in real life and used it to determine their characters actions in game, often giving that character an advantage. Example, reading someone’s application on the forum and using that information in game.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is forcing unfair actions on other players. Other players can find this very disruptive and unrealistic, leaving them little chance to respond fairly. Example, stating your character has tied somebody up without giving them a chance to respond.

Isen clapped his hands together in an excited motion. Isen was delighted at the fact that people were already so welcoming and he had barely stepped off the boat. Isen looked up at the well-dressed man before him. “I am here for adventure, meeting people and hearing their stories!” Isen smiled before adding, “What might your name be and where do I find the best meals and ale?”
