    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: powergaming is forcing actions on other players making it unfair to other players

Brooklyn is a sweet teenager who was always controlled by her parents and village elders.She grew up on the outskirts of Laureh’lin with a small tribe. She was never allowed to do her own things during the week and had to work with her father in the woods or shooting her bow for practice while her mother tended to her 3 male younger siblings. On certain days Brooklyn was allowed to go and venture the woods alone to hike or do what she pleased without restrictions, she mainly hunted deer or forest animals to bring home and help cook up for meals. 

Around others Brooklyn comes off as shy as she didn’t spend much time being around the other elves in her community and didn’t gain too much confidence but a few know her to be very open and bubbly once she has opened up to others. 

She was taught by her parents and the community that magic and unnatural things are distasteful and should never be allowed. 

Brooklyn has been allowed to move away with her parents permission so she can venture off into the world and live freely.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
