    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: I would say that metagaming can be breaking character, like already knowing whats going to happen. Its something like knowing information that they're character doesn't know but act it out anyways.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when a character does something no one would be able to do in real life. Such as a character instantly slicing a man with iron armor in half with one swing. Its unfair for others because they dont get the chance to fight back. You could say

Mavok was born at a campsite near Dominion. He and his family were later kicked out for trespassing. They found a nice spot near a tall tree in the forest. As a child he had always been interested in alchemy since he was 5. He would experiment with different items to make the perfect potion everyday. One day he met a man just like him, he showed him how to defend himself and how to create even deadlier potions. He still doesn't know who that man was, but he is glad that he met him. When he was old enough to leave home. he found an isolated spot near a river. Mavok never liked being seen, so he stayed there and never traveled. He would only travel if he ran out of brewing items. Mavok is always planning on ways for people to bow down before him but hesitates and ends up not doing it. He likes to visit the Serpentwoods because snakes are the only things that understand him. He also keeps some snakes as pets, he uses their venom for potions to defend himself.

Physical Description: Mavok has dark brown hair and green eyes. He wears a worn dark gray robe and is very skinny. He has a raspy voice and usually hides himself.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

-Your powergaming definition could use some rewording. It's close, but not quite correct take a look at our definition here. link

-Your bio should include more background to your character. Try adding some more info about things like where they were born, where they live, do they travel, how do they survive, etc. 

-They way Alchemy and potions are roleplayed on this server are quite unique. I would suggest reading up about alchemy here and finding someone in game who can teach you how to properly emote it. Brewing stands are not usable inside the server so all potions are 100% text based, as to why it would be good to find someone who can teach you to properly emote.
