I was raised in Sutica by my mother. She was a herbalist who taught me the healing virtues of herbs and cures for many minor sicknesses. My father was a merchant and sailor, specialised in alchemical supplies and ingredients. I was taught that the path to self improvement is through knowledge and with that comes the ability and responsibility to treat and, if possible, cure the sick and suffering. To do so, I had to leave home and begin again somewhere new, build a life for myself and strive to make a difference to the lives of others. With a need for exploration and a sense of duty carrying me forwards, I made arrangements with a friend of my fathers for passage to Atlas and began my journey to a new world.
