I was born in Kal’Tarak. My mother, Sarla Verden, taught me how to cook when I was young. Some of my earliest memories were in the kitchen with her. My father, Bernar Verden, was a blacksmith. I didn’t see him much as he was always either out getting a drink or working. I have a older brother too, Tyrin Verden, he’s a lot like my mother. He is warm and kind. I lived a peaceful and happy life until I was ten years old. My parents went out on a walk and must have wandered a little to far. They were killed by an Orenian man. When word reached my brother and I, I fell apart. I didn’t sleep or eat for at least a month. Our whole house felt colder. Tyrin was devastated to I could tell but he worked his hardest to make sure that I grew up with a normal life. I was out in the town one day, just walking about when I saw someone I hadn’t seen in years. My old friend Korvak “Iron-Mane” Silvervein. After being around for a while, we decided to get marry, and I decided to join the Silvervein clan.
