    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: doing something your character is actually unable to do

Valla is an 180 year old forest dwarf. She is a descendant of Gloin, and is constantly found either in the sea of trees or with other animals. Considered to be an odd duck in the land of trees, Valla is fascinated by the different species and longs to leave the safe haven of her town. She admires the Druidic Order and aims to be able to join the order, pursuing the goal her mother once fought for. Her mother died only three months after giving birth to her only child, and Valla has learned that she herself was an explorer. Valla's father left her alone when she turned 91, leaving to join an expedition to explore more of the vast surroundings in the woods. She excels at survival but when it comes to weapons, the only weapon she really knows how to use is a bow or her fists.

Character Race: Forest Dwarf
Character Gender: Female
Character Age: 180
Physical Description: Long brown locks, usually in a french braid or a crown braid fishtail. Skin complexion of a light brown color, with emerald green eyes to pop out.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Your application was well written and has a lovely vibe to your character, however assure the following changes are made:

 

-Avoid using names for the town your character is from, as the town isn't actually part of the server lore. 

-Try and include your character's strengths and weakness', something she is good at and something she struggles with. E.G she could be

an excellent huntsman but needs work in her swordsmanship etc.

 

You have 24 hours to make these changes, please message me upon the forums once you have made the necessary changes or if you need any guidance to writing your character profile.
