After coming from Atlas at the age of 12, Terano’s family settled in Adria. His mother, Juneau, struggled greatly to find a sustainable job. His father died a few months before heading to Arcas. After 3 years of living off of scraps and pitiful donations, Terano found something that he loved: venturing into the wilderness and caring for the nature he found there. He formed a great bond with many of the animals that he found and remained weary of the more aggressive beasts in the wild. He would return to his small home with the smell of dirt and nature all over him. One day, he went into the forest to a place he hadn’t gone before. This was relatively far from home and likely very dangerous. Terano was quietly walking through thick brush when he heard what seemed like a cry for help. It was a high pitched screech that died out quickly. He ran over to the source of the sound, occasionally stopping to listen for a weak whimper. Finally, he stumbled upon a small outcrop where a creature was tangled up in roots. He recognized the creature as a forest imp, as he had read about it in books before. He was aware of their cautious behavior and therefore he slowly and carefully removed the roots and backed away slowly. The imp looked at Terano curiously, whimpered happily, and then bounded away. Terano returned home and told his mother of his experience. She was delighted to hear of this, and she told her son about the Druidic Order. She recommended that, in a few years, he leave home and pursue his dreams. Now, Terano is 21 and he is in Sutica on his journey to Druidism.
