    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when players communicate outside of the game, using Skype, forums, blogs, ect... .Usually it's a request for help. Metagaming is highly punishable.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming or power emoting is when a player uses a emote that gives him an unrealistic advantage. Powergaming is highly punishable.

Legoland Greenleaf was born in the great city of Linadria, in Axios. He mother died in child birth. He was raised by his father, learning all the skills his father wanted to pass on. In Linadria he was taught by his father how to act, and how to be a Mali’ame. That was, until his twelfth birthday. When his father went out on a trip with a couple rangers he knew. They were going to The Silver city, to visit a high elf that happened to be Legoland’s father’s friend.

Right before he left his father said to Legoland, in his deep melodic voice. “I will come back, I promise you. But until I do, I expect you to be the man of the house, to protect the innocent, and to help those who can not help themselves. I’m trusting you son, and I love you. Don't let me down.”  

Legoland remembered that speech his father had given him that day, for the rest of his life. He stood there and looked on as his father went over the hill on the trail, and even after.

It wasn’t till a good friend of Legoland’s came and convinced him to go back to his home and sleep, for it was dark now, did he leave that spot.

 

His father was never heard from again.

 

Legoland was filled with anger, curiosity, and sorrow. He badly wanted to know want happened to his father, yet at the same time he dreaded finding out.

His father was good friends of the high elf, and at that specific time that specific high elf was looking for a son to adopt. So as soon as the elf found out about the grievous tidings of Legoland’s father, he decided that he would adopt the newly orphaned Legoland Greenleaf. Legoland was not so enthusiastic, but the elf had his way. And for six years he lived in the famed high elven city, The Silver City.

 

More and more withdrawn did Legoland become, brooding and thinking, trying to remember the ways of the wood elves. How the willows would bend and sway in the wind, how the sound of the wind would mesmerize him, and most of all, how deep and melodic his father’s laugh sounded. Now a days he just blocks out those bitter sweet memories just to protect himself, and keep all possible distractions that they might pose.

For his new vocation is very dangerous, assassin.

 

He works as an unpaid assassin that hunts down orcs, goblins, dark wizards, and even dark elves.

It matters not the prey, only that it is not dead, yet.

 

Legoland is lost, lost inside his feelings and actions. He is just looking for another door to open, another chance to appear.

Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 18
Physical Description: Blond hair, green eyes, eighteen years old. Has a mature voice, swift, fairly tall but not too tall.
Though not fat or skinny, he has a lean build.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

  • Your Backstory is too short and is supposed to be a summary of your character’s life from birth until their current age. Please rewrite it and at least one additional direct reference to LotC lore.
    • You also make mention of ‘Caras Eldar’ and the ‘Dominion of Malin’, which do not exist on the isle of Arcas, which is the current map. Please consult the wiki if you are having trouble with geographical matters.
  • Your Character Description should be a summary of your appearance, including points such as: age, height, build, gait, tone of voice, hair and eye color, and et cetera.

  • Your Backstory has a few issues, they are as follows:
    • Your backstory still mentions ‘Caras Eldar’ and the ‘Dominion of Malin’ which do not exist on the Isle of Arcas, which is the current map.
    • You cannot have any relation or familiarity with nobility or royalty. Please rewrite the section about being the adopted son of a King.
