    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Using information that you have not gained through roleplay to affect things that happen. For example, knowing about something or using a meme from discord when your character has not learned this and doesn't even know what the internet is.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: doing something that no one in real life or anywere would actually be able to do. For example, magic doesn't exist. If someone were to use magic or any spells (anything that you yourself can't do) this would be powergaming.

Sallouise Josevetta (Sa-you-say Hoe-see-vet-a) is a young snow elf who lives with her friend Wild Devinta. She was born in a small town in Fenn, surrounded by her kin, celebrating the joyus new birth. That following night, dark elves attacked upon their village. Some ran, many stayed to fight for their familys as promised to Wryvun. t The young elf who had yet to lift a finger was taken into the night by one of the kinder dark elves, Unina. She took her back with them to their village in Aegrothond, where she was raised to believe to follow her destiny (to the rest of the dark elves, this was not the destiny she was destined to have). When she turned 40, Unina passed away due to a sudden illness. This left Sallouise with nothing but being shun by the other dark elves.  She left with nothing and currently resides about anywere where their is food and shelter. She hopes to find a home for herself and someone who will make her life worth living. She ran into WIld and has stuck by her ever since, greaving for the loss of her parents , wishing she knew who they were and Unina, a loving mother.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Ø  Your metagaming definition does not match the server’s definition of metagaming. Please refer to our wiki page on for the most correct and relevant info (just keep in mind not to plagiarize).

 

Ø  Your powergaming definition isn’t quite right either. Please edit this. I’d recommend that you refer to our wiki page on powergaming so that you can find the approved definition for LotC. Remember to write it in your own words!

 

Ø You must include at least one server lore reference in your character biography (other than your character’s race or family, or one of the server’s maps). This lore reference could be something like the name of the city your character was born in or an event such as a war that your character has lived through. Please fix this using the wikia and forums for examples to use.

 

Ø You must include at least one clear flaw in your character's interesting facts/traits. While hardships such as losing your parents can certainly impact a person negatively, it isn’t a character flaw in itself. Perhaps try and elaborate on how this influenced your character negatively. A flaw should generally be something to do with the character’s personality/behaviour. These facts/traits must also be at least five-word sentences.


Ø  While this is not necessary to change, I wanted to make sure that you are aware your character’s age means that they will be considered something like a child or adolescent in most elven cultures. Generally speaking, elves aren’t considered adults until they are at least 50 years old.

 

You’re nearly there however there are a few changes that you must make to your application before you can be whitelisted. You have 24 hours to make the changes above. Once you’ve finished editing your application, shoot me a message here on the forums or through discord and I’ll take another look.

Ø  Axios is a previous map/continent on the server that was vacated long ago. Please search for places from the previous map which has only been vacated for several in game called ‘Atlas’ for places your character might have grown up in and for places from the current map, ‘Arcas’, for places your character may have been recently. Malinor hasn’t existed for a long time either. Please change these.
