    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: You warn them that they're godmoding or powergaming and that they should take back that action. If they don't stop, inform a staff member.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Because you use OOC information IC. It releases information to the other players about something (an event, someone's backstory, etc) when their character is not them and their character wouldn't have known about it.

Character Race: High Elf
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 50
Physical Description: Elven ears, 6 foot, blue eyes that are hidden behind his mask, and blonde hair hidden behind his hood. Slim but fairly built like most elves.
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

*Taeali Looks around cautiously as he enters but doesn't sit yet* "You've been expecting me? Are you a mind reader of some sorts?" *Taeali sits down, now visibly less cautious* "Well wise one, if you've been expecting me then you must know part of my story already no? But I guess that's besides the point... I'm not here by choice unless fate has dragged me around once again for a reason." *Taeali gives a heavy sigh through his mask* "I was on my way to Nevaehlen to train to become a Greenblade, or at least a Gladeguard... but it seems I've gotten lost haha... But my goal remains the same. My father wants me to train in The Vale, so I must reach it." *Taeali shakes his head a little* "Can you tell me where we are? Or which way to go to reach The Vale?"
