    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is using OOC information IC, for example saying you know someone's name because you say it over there head, or for instance if you are using Discord and your friends are in trouble and they tell you to come there and save their lives.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is doing something that is unrealistic or impossible for a human being to do at a certain time depending on the role-play situation, forcing roleplay on others without giving them a proper chance, making up things that never happened for your own personal gain and outcome.

Jamie Solomons was born in Helena, he comes from a fairly modest family. Jamie learned a lot from his parents as a child, from basics in the house to archery. He learned how to shoot a bow mostly when he went hunting with his father, a veteran of The War of Two Emperors.

The thing that affected Jamie the most was at the age of 13 when his father was taken down by a disease because he was not treated in time. The fact that his father left at such a young age, he began to get himself back on his feet and helped his family as much as he could. The stories and advices he received from his parents helped him shape his character and become a good man.

His circle of friends was a more restrained one, yet, Jamie was a very sociable person and he spent a lot of time in local taverns. He was passionate about the stories of travelers who stopped at taverns to spend their nights. He listened to their stories fondly and tried to learn something from people's experience all the time. Because of the stories he heard then in some taverns, he had in mind that he had to do the same thing - to travel a lot.

 

When he grew up, he made the decision to leave his home to create his own path in life. Waiting for the right moment, he leaves Helena with a fish transport to a land unknown to him so that he can begin is own adventure.

Physical Description: Jamie is a young man with blue eyes, medium-sized brown hair. He has a slim but athletic figure, he is about 180 cm.
Roleplay Scenario:

You’ve just stepped off of the boat in the port of a massive and fortified city. Before you lies a sprawling bazaar, with numerous shops, stalls, and seated traders selling wares to folk of all walks of life. Just as you’re about to continue walking onwards, into the market, you’re approached by a well-dressed gentleman who looks upon you with a big smile. “Welcome!” He began. “What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?”
How do you respond?

 

"Hello, goodman!" Jamie smiles and nods in accordance.

"I'm here for a fresh start and I want to shape my life on my own." Jamie looks curiously around, admiring the place where he ended up.

"And to answer your question — Yes, I'm here on this land ready to gain wealth and adventures." Jamie proudly smiles.

"I'm sure I've got a lot of adventures ahead and I'm ready for every one of them".
