    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Forcing an action against another player without their prior approval or forcing an action without allowing the other party to react.

Hailing from a family that mastered the arts of alchemy, and naturopathic medicine, she was now next in line to learn. Starting out at a relatively early age of fifteen, she studied under her father's watchful eye. She learned of healing arts, tonics, poultices and weaving silken gauze. While, she never learned to master these skills before deciding she wished to learn from experience, and wander the realm; she did her best to achieve for perfection in the craft. Her heart and soul found itself in the natural world of medicine and moonlight.

 

Though she continued her ventures and travels, she always returned to Ker'nor once a year. Placing her gift of flowering herbs, and perfumes at the altar to her ancestors, she gave her respect. Staying for what felt like years to her, yet was merely a week or two, she mused her family. Her heart remained with the gardens she kept and the meaning they held, never within the walls of the caverns she knew before.

 

Through her travels she met her love, and greatest comfort, Rystel. With him alongside her, she felt no worries or fears.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
