Dakkun Gurez is a human born from two Farfolk parents that are presumed dead. He possesses no knowledge on his lineage, and is unaware of which nation he hails from, aside from his darker shaded skin tone being the only clue of him being a Farfolk. He was taken in by an aged Sutican merchant named Rorique - who decided to exercise his charitable personality and adopt the toddler which he found on a merchant ship unable to gain entry past Fort Stonegate. Assuming that the small boy was a slave (or at least going to be), Rorique did his best to ensure the boy had a chance at a good future and taught him all forms of trade skills, including smithy, foraging, lumber milling, mining and of course, the practice of trade.
Rorique often took Dakkun on trade expeditions, living mostly on the road. Unfortunately, Rorique died a few days after Dakkun's 19th birthday during the travel. The past few years Dakkun has lived as a wandering freelancer, using his skills do do whatever job is available, and he takes refuge in inns and homestaying with clients whenever possible, to stay alive.
