    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: meta gaming is when someone uses information that their character wouldn't have like say i rp " Bartholomew would be wearing a cloak covering his face so no one would notice him" and then the person went "would walk up and say hello to Bartholomew" of co
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: power gaming is when someone rps and action like "would run at ben and slice his arm off" now that doesnt allow you to react because they have emoted your reaction instead a better they could have done it could be "would run at ben trying to slice his arm

this story begins deep inside the city of the elven city Haelun'or where a new baby born has been born this boy's name is arios, arios was born to a very average family and arios didnt mind this it didnt matter that he was born to an average family he just knew he was better then any other race out there and he was proud of that. One day when arios was 11 or so he came across a book he found in the elven library, it talked about how to do magic but for beginners so being quite intrigued at said book he decided to read it instantly becoming hooked and constantly wanting to learn more and more about magic (doesnt know exactly how to do magic yet just interested in it) now due to this massive interest he had planned on exploring out in to the world to find someone to teach him magic. Even though he had a massive love for magic and wanted to follow it completely arios still took up training with ranged weapons so if it really did come down and he needed to fight he could hold his own pretty well not as good as others but just at a basic level he took this up around the age of 20 so only 5 years of bow training while also reading about magic while also having to attend education so he could learn of the elven history like the silver city and also about iblee's war and magics of old malinor

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
