    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Granting your character unrealistic powers that provide it with a significant advantage over others, often bypassing it's physical or mental limitations, or forcing the opposing character into actions with no room for counters.

(I was invited onto the server by Arachne_07 to play as the daughter of Alluin Miravaris, a High Elf himself, hence my application for a child character. The age minimum is 18, yet for this particular application, I am taking the freedom to lower the age to 5.)

 

Anais was born in Lareh’thilln, as the result of a union between the Houses of Miravaris and Seregon. Although the young couple was happy about the new addition to the family, Anais would soon find herself abandoned by her mother, who left for no known reason, and was thus raised under the loving, yet strict care of her father. Left with a broken heart after his wife’s departure, Alluin became overly protective of his daughter and dedicated a lot of time to her upbringing. Despite her young age, Anais was already showing the signs of incredible beauty and intelligence, and was her father’s pride and greatest treasure.

 

Anais spent most of her early years at home, reading and discovering the world and it’s secrets through books and maps, or attempting to play musical instruments, closely watched by her father. He taught her what it meant to be a High Elf and instructed her on the values of her people. But at just five years of age, Anais’ life was all ahead of her, to be shaped in the hands of fate.

Physical Description: Anais has long, blonde hair and green eyes. She usually wears a light blue and white dress. She weighs around 33 pounds and is about 3.77 feet tall.
Roleplay Scenario:

Anais clings onto her father’s hand and backs off, trying to hide behind him, yet looks up at the human with certain curiosity, and immense shyness. “Valah can be dangerous...”, she mumbles to herself, remembering what her father taught her.
