    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: by using phrases that allows the other player to react like insted of saying *he stabs in the heart* one could say *he tries stabing in the heart*
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: because it makes the roleplay unrealistic and gives advantage over other characters. for example, Player123 reads in a wiki that there is an ancient weapon in a specific ruin and their character suddendly is aware that the weapon exists and where to find it without ever having previous knowledge about it.

Roleplay Scenario:

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"greeting" she stutter a bit while looking a bit curious and a little conccerned "i-im sorry you've been..." she paused for a bit "expecting me? have we met? never mind" she sits on the cushion "well i was born from a blacksmith father and a seamstress mother, along with two older siblings" she said with a homesick look before filling with light "im very passionate about singing, and i've been writting songs since i was 10" her eyes filled with resentment " i unfortunately don't have them with me as my father burned them saying i should been following one of my parents steps" she shook her head "but anyways i ran from home and im here looking to look for inspiration for new songs"
