Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
The young knight glances around the room cautiously, weary of deception. Once he is satisfied, he takes a seat. "My name is Valeris, I am a traveler and knight from a faraway place, coming from humble beginnings." He began, growing more comfortable despite being surrounded by unfamiliar territory. "I was, and still am, a simple man, with little more to worry about than myself. My childhood was very hard, as I was a simple farm boy working hard with my father for survival. I left my home in search of purpose, and have not returned since. I have traveled far and wide, yet no one knows of me. I hope to grow my name and title across this land someday, and restore the good to this world that has been long corrupted. That is my story." He finished with a polite bow.
