Age 0-12
Aurelius was born into a family on the run. In his childhood years Aurelius lived happily. His father was a teacher of Magic arts and was highly praised in High Elf society for his dedication to teaching students at Haelun’or College. However, his father soon became an outcast among his students and colleagues as he preached tolerance and equality. Aurelius was also taught at a young age to value every life, no matter race. His father’s words would lead to his death, as one of the student’s father soon learnt of this preaching and assaulted Aurelius’ father and mother. His father and mother became gravely wounded from this attack and Aurelius’ father later died of his wounds.
Age 12-39
The time after his father’s death was mostly spent with his mother. Aurelius had to constantly move around with his mother as they did not feel at home anywhere, and it was hard to establish a family without his father there. Aurelius picked up the bow soon after his father’s death and started hunting for food. Yet most of the food were sold by his mother which became increasingly more alcoholic. When Aurelius became 36 his mother was at death’s door. She had gained strange symptoms which locals had never seen before. Her skin became yellow and her stomach became inflated. Aurelius spent the last days of his mother’s life searching for a cure, yet not coming up with anything. Aurelius then became a fully independent lone wolf, he has high tolerance for other races yet hate the High Elf society which he believes caused his father and mother’s death. He now spends his days adventuring, in the hopes of finding comrades and a place where he can settle down.
Despite being a High Elf, Aurelius is religion and somewhat adheres to the religion of Canonism. He first became a Canonist after his father died, when he started moving around with his mother. He met many merchants whom believed in God and – what’s most important for him; the afterlife. Aurelius yearns for a chance to meet his father again. Aurelius’ father was everything for him and he has not yet moved on from his death and has barely developed mentally since then. Aurelius can not really be classified as a Canonist as he is more free-spirited, yet believes in a higher diety much like the one in the Church of Canon, which is the most powerful being in the universe.
