    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when a player has read or knows something on websites or something and make their character magically know all about said thing. For example if George was to read on the forums that there was magic then go into his character and magically know how to do magic.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when a player creates an unfair character or item that would make them unfairly powerful. For example if Greg said he was chosen by his village too have a overpowered sword that could beat anyone.

As Jo Hops of the boat with his friend they enter and see all the stalls and shops and people. After seeing this Jo whispers in Bjorn's ear and says "Can I hide behind you there's so many people here and I feel like I can't trust any of them". As soon as Jo finishes his sentence a well dressed gentleman looks at us with a great big smile and say "Welcome, What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?" I look at Bjorn and put 2 fingers up then 3 fingers while putting my other hand into a sideways thumb up indicating that Jo chose the second opinion (Adventure) and slightly opinion 3 (some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society). Bjorn responds to the man saying "I came here for adventure and trying to become a great knight/crusader and my friend here says he came here for adventure and sort of for some grand aspirations to elevate his place in society".
