Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
**He let's a slight smile slip trough after hearing those words
"So you are the seer I've been told about?"
**She nods back, silently
**Stepping forth deeper into the tent, in the direction of the cushion he sits
"I have been wandering for a good while, searching for a place where I can ply my trade, somewhere that I can put myself to good use."
"It's more than that" she giggles "There are few places with lack a job for hunters like you; many villages need food and protection from beasts..."
**She pauses
"You seek more than a place to earn your bread, you seek your calling, you want to prove yourself"
"yes" his voice shaken "I seek a place where I can do more than just live"
**Raising his chin and his tone
"I seek a land with beasts a plenty, a land where I can hunt more than just game, some place where I can..."
**The old hag laughs at the sudden silence from the man
"You got exited there didn't you, it's good, good, those of weak heart don't usually last much after asking for my help"
"Tell me more, not that it's going to change what I shall tell you after"
**After a deep breath, the man starts to speak, the hesitation on his voice is no more
"My name is Alan Melitroz Rumbar, though only one is needed when refering me, I come from a village where the trees are as red as embers and their wood as hard as stone, I am son of a hunter and a seamstress, both now gone, my brothers and sister are scatered about the world and once nothing bound me anymore to my home, I left, hoping to find something better. I travel seeking a place to make my name as a hunter, hunting beasts I only saw on illustrations, looking for either glory, death or meaning."
**Smiling now, the hag says
"And you come to me for the knowledge of where to find such things"
"yes" he answers shortly
"Go west from here, there you shall find where to begin"
