Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
He sits across from her on the cushion “I first experienced death as a young boy” He takes a deep breath before continuing. “An enemy force invaded my village, and my mother was wounded”. He begins to visibly shake “She died next to me, in my fathers arms” His head droops “He was never the same after that,he grew cold and violent”. He lifts his head and the Hag notices tears in his eyes “He trained me to kill to protect myself from monsters and man alike”. “I hated him after and when he died I left to go somewhere where memories of that man wouldn’t reach me”. " That is my story Hag, now I must ask, where am I".
