In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when people use knowledge their character doesn't have during Role Play. Such as knowing somebody's name and/or weaknesses.
In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when you use RP that has a 100% chance of hitting or affecting your opponent without them having a chance to stop it. An example is if you said you tripped him and he fell, this doesn't give them a chance to react.

I am a far folk that doesn't care if the king is hanged or worshipped, as long as the taxes don't go to high I don't care. I was raised in Santegia but later on, I moved to Haense with my family. We were at the limit between torture and insults because of how many Highlanders were there. It got annoying but we dealt with it. Till one day someone threw a rock to hard. It tripped my mother and you could hear the crunch of her neck before you realized what happened. Me and my father lived in emotional pain for a while, then I shut it out. I got through school and because of what happened I got a career that would make others run.  I'll stab, hang, burn, or crush any man or woman to death if it means a pay check. I gamble and I usually win, I have never seen a man who hasn't been ready to dash out the door when in a game with me. I plan to learn necromancy or blood magic to add to my list of gruesome fates. There is one thing and one thing only that I like that isn't related to intimidation or murder. That single thing would be dogs.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

((How does your character respond? Please ensure your response is at least six sentences long, and uses at least two actions.))

"Oh, I just, uh…" The traveler stutters, tensing up. They eye the crone, then back outside the shack. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until…
