Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example: Zoghtar lowered himself onto the cushion, his massive frame sinking into it. "I am Zoghtar, a warrior. My axe has claimed countless lives, but today... I seek something different." He clenched his fists. "My brother, Dareg, is lost. He's somewhere in this cursed town, and I must find him. He's all I have left." Zoghtar's jaw tightened. "War has taken everything from me. But i won't let it take my brother."

Zoghtar stood abruptly, his rage cold but fierce. "I don't fear war. I fight to find my brother and nothing will stop me." He turned, heading for the exit.

The old woman didn't move.

"Oh, I just, uh…" you stutter, tensing up. You eye the crone, then back outside the tent. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until…
