You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
As you enter the tent, Ragnar's eyes scan the surroundings with caution. He takes in the smell and sight of the town, and it doesn't seem to faze him. He walks to the cushion and sits down, his height and muscular build making it seem small and insignificant. He looks at the old hag and speaks in a low, rumbling voice, "I am Ragnar, a warrior of the dark elves. I have traveled far to seek answers to a great mystery that has been troubling my people. I seek the guidance of those who are knowledgeable and wise, and I have been told that you are one such person. Perhaps you can help me find what I am looking for." He then falls silent, waiting for the hag's response.
