Anlimderre was the third child born of his mother. He was born in Haelun'or. His parents were Higher Elves known for their hard work and dedication to Elvin society. Him and his sisters grew up in an environment where they were constantly pushed to become extraordinary and achieve whatever they desired. Anlim (Anlimderre) found a passion for history through art and story telling but what he really wanted to study was magic. He was constantly surrounded by high elves who could master magic and he was told how it was not a mere craft one picks up. His mentors told him how you have to endure a lot of challenges to discover the secrets. During school he excelled at the courses he liked. One of his major struggles that he is learning to overcome is the intoxicating prejudice and racism everyone in their society has. It wasn't until Anlimderre discovered a book written by humans in the library that he put into perspective what they were taught. He never really understood how these humans were. All of the textbooks and media he consumed regarding other races were always at the side of the higher elves. They were seen as elder powerful beings that were more experienced and educated than anyone else. The book brought a different light into what he was used to reading. He began to cross study multi species in the world and what purpose they served. His parents wanted him to go into civil law and have a political opinion among the elves but Anlimderre didn't want to be surrounded by old stuffy elves who's ideology is so old and distant. He wanted to explore the world and meet and discover other cultures and races but most importantly he wanted to learn magic. By his final year of school Anlim turned 18 and he was ready to start his journey. His father allowed him to chase his dream of his because he believes it will lead him to the path he wants him to take. Anlimderre has had interactions with other species and races. He would spend a lot of the summers with his cousins where the wood elves lived but he loved the spontaneity and liberty from the dark elves. He spent some vacation days there as well learning how to let loose. He's met other creatures such as humans, dwarves but the higher elves like to stay among themselves though his parents did seem to like to talk to the other races they even had a few friends that weren't elves.
“Welcome!” He began. “What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?”
Anlimderre stalls. He doesnt know whether to trust this man or tell him the truth. His nice clothes do seem like he is part of some nobility and by the looks of his round ears and shiny dark hair, he's talking to a human. "To be honest, all three" he says, "but most importantly adventure" he confirms. It felt good admitting what he said and in that moment something clicked inside of him, as if he knew he was in the right path and for once he did believe he was.
