Elysia was born into a strict yet loving canonist family in Providence. She has two parents, Layla, a Farfolk, and Aelius Elderose, a Heartlander, and a little sister named Cressida. A majority of her life was spent living in a small home outside the capital of Providence. She focused much on her studies and helping her mother tend to her garden and other house chores that needed to be done, when she wasn’t helping her parents with mundane tasks she spent her afternoons playing outside their home with her sister or running errands with her at the capital city. If her father had time, he would play music to her and her sister or read them a good story. She had made a few travels to Yong Ping when her mother wanted to visit a family friend during her teenage years. There she met a young boy at the library and the two became friends for some time, though ended up losing contact later on after Yong Ping fell. During her late teen years, she landed herself a job with her father who was a blacksmith and helped him as needed, later working in a floral shop until she had enough money to open up her own bookstore, which she managed until she sought a new change of scenery in her 20s. She is currently looking for a place to settle on her own and has spent her time traveling to many different settlements.
