Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example: *would eye the old hag and let out a heavy sigh* "My name is Vlad. I travel from distant lands in search of a place to call my home. I am quite weary from my travels." *he would say as he began to hang his coat up* "My family is a poor folk and we have scrounged up every last bit of coin to allow me to embark on my journey here. I hope that this place could provide me with all the tools I need to bring safety to my family." *would take a drink out of his canteen* "It was a long and grueling journey... I'm quite surprised I have not been slain yet... I am thankful that this place is a lot warmer than the climate I am accustomed to." *As he finished talking, he would get up, grabbing his coat and taking one last swig from his canteen* "I thank you for allowing me to stay, but I must get going. I have a lot of work to do"
