Aralas was born and raised in Linandria. His father died in battle when he was only a baby and his grief-stricken mother died from a mental illness a few years later. He was orphaned and taken in by a knowledgeable yet quiet and unsociable elf who lived in a small house just outside of Linandria. Through most of his young life he felt an outcast, mocked and tormented by the other elven children, he learned the hard way how cruel the world could be. Even though his father was very religious, Aralas didn't understand and often questioned the Aspectist faith. Over the years, Aralas has learned many life skills from his father and knows how to care for himself. The other elven folk barely talked to Aralas and wouldn't accept his as one of them which gave him little hope of living in Linandria, their cruelty dug deep into him, corrupting him and making him hate them all. Aralas was only 30 when his adopted father and only friend died, leaving him alone and homeless ... again. With the little money that he had he bought equipment and a small, crude ship then set sail for answers. Aralas found refuge and hope in the dark elven city of Ker'nor where he learned many things and took an interest in their weapon-smithing. At a young age he was shown how to craft a bow and make arrows but never how to make such a fine and elegant blade. After months of labours work, his sword was done. It was near weightless yet so sharp it would cut you in an instant. Over the course of 3 years, he mastered many arts of sword fighting and martial arts as well as teaching the dark elves how to better themselves with a bow. He also loved the dark elven fashion and respected their gracious clothing. After spending 4 years with the Dark elves, he set out again hoping to learn more about the world around him and better himself. Through all this his love for nature stayed with him and always will.
