    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information that your character has no relevant knowledge of. For instance, if someone was in trouble in the game, they can't contact you to come help.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is basically overpowering your character & having them do something they shouldn't be able to do. It also means that you shouldn't be forcing anything on another character. For instance, I can't run up and stab someone, that would not give the

It cut off my powergaming example. I’ll finish it here I guess. ?

For instance, I can’t run up to someone and stab them, that would not allow them to respond. I could say that i was walking at them with a knife, and then give them the time to respond so that I’m not taking control away from them.
