    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is basically forcing a certain type of RP on a person where that person has no chance to RP out of.

hello my name is Henry sharphand. and i'm 18 years old. 

I was very young, and was discovered on the road to markev in the wagon-wreckage by a troop of mercenaries. They raised me - my "family" was a bunch of professional soldiers/killers/problem-solvers, and I had to throw my ability to  swindle people around to thrive. geral (my mentor) tended to see violence as the best solution, and was very touchy about his height. eventualy a group of brigands attacked our camp , altough we drove them back i was badly wounded and  they decided to leave me to to my fate . luckily i was rescued  by a group of farmers and they tended to my wounds. Right now as i recover i might begin a new live where i make new friends and make the world a better place.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
