Fink, is a male goblin who originates from The mountains of Ceru. His relatives vanished at an early age, he learned to be independent fast, using any resources he could find. He learned to hide and run quickly, keeping his wits about him and remaining skeptical of anything he encountered.
However that way of life was exhausting and quite lonely, and after 20 years, he sought for something else.
These days, he spends his time wandering, trying to find a group or place to call home. Despite that, he tends to be very wary and untrusting of people. He hasn’t had much experience socializing with others, and tends to come off as awkward or timid.
Once familiar with someone, he’s more curious than anything, asking questions about the world around him, as he has much to learn from being isolated.
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
Fink observes his surroundings carefully, a part of him is skeptical, yet the other is merely fascinated by the array of items strung around. At the rasp of the hag's voice, his gaze snaps towards her.
Her string of questions leaves him stunned, he ignores her invitation to sit and instead stands, feeling more secure in doing so. “I come from.. I believe the mountains of Ceru.” He said, studying the crone. “What do I hope to make of myself?” He pondered the question, it was something he hadn’t yet considered. “I… guess I just hope to learn something— er, lots of things.” He said slowly. “I want to meet others and learn.” He finalized. It felt weird saying that out loud, especially to a strange individual he hadn’t even properly met.
“Uh… who are you?”
