Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"expecting me..? Right...My story." he clears his throat. "Well.. i come from a far land.. I was raised there by my older sister in a temple of the goddess of the moon. Adria..Is what they called her. I was raised there until i was 17..sadly it ambushed by some monsters who burnt the temple and everyone in the temple. I was lucky to not have been in there at the time.. and so i fled, leaving everything behind and snuck onto a merchant ship. when we hit dock i ran before they could notice me and i travelled alone.. too scared but i hope to build a new temple for the goddess soon. Somewhere i can call home too. and maybe teach people about the goddess and bring her new worshipers, that would be nice, don't you agree Miss?"
