Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Me?" she raises an eyebrow, unsure she heard the women correctly. "Well then... where do I start" she taps her foot quickly on the ground. "I grew up in a large geode cave system, raised by the Nephilim's. It was very much it takes a village mentality so I never knew my real parents..." Lorelei trails off, eyes blank, then snaps back. "Where was I?" she shakes her head. "Anyways, when I was 15, my home was infiltrated and destroyed by cave dwarves for resources. Many people in my family died from the collapsing of ores and rocks but I was one of the lucky ones" Lorelei, still standing, finally takes a seat across from the hag. "Since then I've been on the streets, selling anything from flowers to brightly colored rocks I've found on the ground." She scrunches her nose, the scent intrusive. "Recently I thought it was finally time to find my forever home and stumbled across this... lovely place" Lorelei looks at the hag, little behind her assertive eyes. "Where am I"
