    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Knowing something irl that your character wouldn't know.

    E.g. Player X knowing from a source such as social media that his base is about to get raided jumping in-game to deal with it, otherwise he wouldn't have known it.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Mary-sue-like godly powers that makes the character overpowered making it hard to have fun in a battle with them - It's an unrealistic way of roleplaying - not allowing the other individual to even do anything about it.

    E.g.
    If player X attacks player Y and e.g. tries to cast a spell on them, the equivalent of powergaming would be player X sending a meteor down on player Y, something that they cannot deflect or counter in any way, making it powerful.

    Another example would be player A casting a spell on player B and player B denying it by saying things like "Oh I actually have anti-X armour"
