Barst was left on the side of the street not long after he was born. He never met his parents, and doesn't even recall their faces. He has no last name of his own. A boy found him there and they became fast friends. His name was Aldor. A couple years older, he and his group of young companions helped care for the young boy. But in the dangerous streets of Providence nothing is sure. Eventually only Barst and Aldor were left. They now do whatever odd job pays well, living in the underbelly of the city, making it by. They both want to make it somewhere better, but Barst is willing to do whatever to get there. Despite the "culture" of the Empire, Barst cares nothing for it. Barst smiled ruefully at the ridiculous looking man. "Wealth. There are other reasons to come here?"

"Well, in that case, is there anyway for you to help me achieve that wealth?"
He looked Barst straight in the eye, a more serious expression donning his face. "As a matter of fact, I do..."
