    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Meta gaming is the gaining and usage of knowledge that is gained through OOC measures. It could be in the form of telling a friend to help you and giving them cords when you get attacked.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is making your character do things which aren't realistic just so you can get an upper hand on someone. It is like saying 'my character dodges all hits then kills the enemy with a single blow'.

*Lizzy stares at the man, a little drool coming from her mouth as she states.* "Hellu lad...Es lookin' feh adventureh!" As he truly was! The young Orcish woman wished to know the location of her homeland. *Lizzy then smiles broadly, one may find it quite creepy if you weren't of her race.* "Eh lookin' feh...uh..." *Lizzy drools for a moment of thought before her mind clicked back into place like a lightbulb moment had occurred. "Lookin'! Feh meh 'omeland where deh uddah Orcs live."

 

[!] *With this the man points Lizzy in the direction of an Orcish trader, who she approached gingerly and eagerly as she began her journey!*
