Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Astrid sighed, and said, "I was born in New Valdev, to my mother and father, who later passed due to unknown reasons when I was 3. hence, I was raised by my aunt and uncle, who had strict values that weren't necessarily the ones I held dear, and often punished me for having different values than them. So, after about 15 years of that, I ran away, and here I am. I don't know whether my aunt and uncle are still alive and nor do I care. now, my life is dedicated to exploring the vast reaches of this world, and maybe, just maybe, when I've made a life for myself, I'll return to New Valdev, and proudly say to my aunt and uncle, 'This is my life now'. or if they are dead, I'll just leave and go back to exploring." She finished her rambling and finally sat down.
