Andrew Mild Jr. was born in an unknown city on the coast of Axios, to a small middle-class family. His mother, Anima, was a very proficient alchemist of the town, and his father, Andrew Sr., was an officer in the city's guard force. His father taught him to fight, with daggers due to his young age, and with martial arts.
Andrew was always incredibly sly, quick, and quiet. He always enjoyed playing pranks on other children, as well as those he viewed as detrimental to him or his family (such as his mother's competitors). He enjoyed climbing, running, and tests of dexterity and agility like other children, and he almost always surpassed his peers in these... But always, his weakness lied in his muscles. He always had issue putting on much strength for reasons they couldn't figure out.
Andrew's life tended to be happy always, in childhood. He always had good food, and enjoyed time with family and other children. One day, however, at age 12, he experienced a tragedy... He'd spend his day running, playing pranks, and playing games with the other children, as he commonly did. Buy when he came back home that evening, he found his house covered up with guards. He never really got around to figuring out what happened, save for that his father was dead, and his mother was pending execution.
He was taken in as a ward of the city. Andrew, however, refused to stay and serve orphanages... Mere weeks later he escaped from what he saw as his captivity, and lived on the streets.
His already-mischievous attitude caused him to fall quickly into the wrong crowd. Thieves would use him and give him a portion of profit from minor robberies. He would often be hired as a pickpocket or similar, as hands were quick and careful...
At age 18, he left the streets to join the crew of a ship, with much deliberation... More specifically, a crew of pirates mostly comprised of orcs. He was taken on as a medic, putting his steady hands to good use for once, albeit for not-so-good people. Naturally, in this environment he quickly learned the language of the orcs, blah. And travel to various lands allowed him to learn good amounts of other languages as well.
Eventually though, his time on the ship came to an end... One day, the ship was nearly overcome by the men of the ship they meant to raid. Even to the lower decks they came, where Andrew was forced to take a life, or die. This troubled him greatly. And only months later at age 23, he left the ship for good.
He found himself in a new land. One he'd never visited. A land called Atlas. He knew that this was his chance for a new life... And he took it. He chose to begin a better, simpler life, in a new land with a new name: Senkrad Despair.
