How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use knowledge outside of roleplay to influence the actions of your character that they otherwise would not know about or use real life disputes to fuel a character hatred for another.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when you as a character take actions that they wouldn't be able to do or become insanely powerful or "inhuman" in how they react to situations or combat.
